Actress Elizabeth Banks has assured fans they can “sleep well” in the knowledge that Jennifer Lawrence will impress in the last Hunger Games movie.
Jennifer has played heroine Katniss Everdeen since the first instalment of the franchise in 2012 and her role will come to an end in this year’s (15) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2. Elizabeth will also be waving farewell to her part of larger-than-life Games co-ordinator Effie Trinket. However she promises the cast won’t be going out without a bang.
“Everyone will be sad because you will want more. It will be hard when it finally fizzles out and we know we won’t see each other anymore,” she told Britain’s Metro newspaper. “You can sleep well, [Jennifer’s] everything you hope and want her to be.”
As well as her successful stint in the dystopian flicks, Elizabeth has established herself as a fully-fledged director. She helmed and appeared in 2015’s Pitch Perfect 2 after starring in the original three years ago as Gail.
