Jennifer Lawrence says she was about six years old when she first gave acting a shot. It wasn’t in a community theatre production or a fast-food commercial; it was in her aunt’s loo.
“I remember watching my aunt just tell a story, I was probably five or six, and I went into the bathroom. I didn’t even look in the mirror, it wasn’t about imitating or anything, but I remember I watched, I watched her mannerisms,” recalls Lawrence, now 24, over the phone from an LA junket for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’, the third of four movies based on the books. “In that bathroom, at her house, when I was six was the first time I ever felt myself like somebody else, if that makes any sense and doesn’t make me sound like a psycho.”
To this day, observing people is the only acting lesson the three-time Oscar nominee has ever taken.

“But I have come to the conclusion now that fame doesn’t make you an a—hole. I got to meet Jennifer Lawrence, and she is one of the most famous people in the f—king world, and could not have been nicer. It’s in you or it isn’t in you. And basically, we are in an industry which facilitates and enables people to be d—-kheads if they want to be, and actually sometimes rewards it. The crazier you are, the more attention you get, or the more leeway you’re granted.”

Well, luckily, they’re both very genuine people, so they’re both the same people that I met before. I think that’s what makes people successful, you know? People are attracted to honesty and beauty and all the things these women are. And, they’re talented on top of that. They’re such good actresses, because they’re both just striving to make things honest and true at all times. So, I think that’s why the world’s responded the way it has. It makes me happy to see that the world is recognizing that, and these people deserve it. It’s a beautiful thing to watch.

“Not that Jennifer Lawrence didn’t do a great job, she’s phenomenal. I love sharing that role with that girl. She’s as cool as they come, but I do think nine hours of make-up makes you the villain you need to be to be Mystique.”

Marion Cotillard has enjoyed hanging out with ”fun” actress Jennifer Lawrence. Both actresses have been muses for fashion house Dior and the 38-year-old beauty can’t wait for their next meeting because they get along so well. When asked by Stylist magazine who makes her laugh the most right now, Marion replied:
”Will Ferrell! My friends. I have very, very funny friends. They make me laugh because I laugh so hard. Oh and Jennifer Lawrence. Yeah, that’s a good list. ‘I have a Dior dinner, which I’m looking forward to because they’re amazing, funny people. And Jennifer Lawrence will be there so I’m going to have a lot of fun.”

Most awkward interview, Jennifer Lawrence? Butt plug?
“Most awkward, oh god know. One of my favourites. I ran in to her mom not long after. She was going ‘Oh God, why did she say that? What’s wrong with her?’ I thought it was good TV. I love her, think she’s fantastic. She’s so comfortable to talk to, and such a real person and has so much energy. There’s such a light coming off her, she can talk about anything.”

“No, I never really feel that way. Mostly, partly because I only ever read the script once a year before we shoot it so once we get there I’m like ‘urk’. I go about everything the same way. I read my lines in the morning and hope I remember them but with Katniss it’s the same character but she’s constantly evolving and changing and growing so you’re growing and changing with her so I never really feel like ‘Oh I’ve got it down’ because she’s always changing into something else.”
“Well I don’t really pay attention to it and it doesn’t really matter. I mean, it does. Oh my god, if I start getting bad press, that would suck so I guess it does matter. I don’t know. I don’t want to pay attention to it or read it. I just need to keep doing my thing.”
