Helen Mirren is praising Jennifer Lawrence for his recent essay on Hollywood’s gender pay gap.

The legendary actress was quizzed about the ‘The Hunger Games’ actress’s beautifully written essay in a new interview with Reuters, and it turns out that the ‘The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover’ star had nothing but praise for her fellow thespian.

“I thought it was fabulous. I loved it, it was very personal and she’s right,” Helen told Reuters on November 5th, adding that she feels “We are too polite as women.”
