Fearne Cotton has said that she is looking forward to speaking to Jennifer Lawrence on the BAFTAs red carpet. The broadcaster is presenting Live from the Red Carpet: The 2014 EE British Academy Film Awards on E! on Sunday, February 16 at 5.15pm.

“Jennifer Lawrence I’m a big fan of – I think she was great in American Hustle,” Cotton told Digital Spy.

“She seems like a bit of a loose cannon in a good way. That could be fun. I think she just seems really real.” She added: “She bridges between us mere mortals and Hollywood stars. She’s somewhere in between where she still has grounded, normal mannerisms.

“Things happen to her and the way that she talks about those instances… she’s not there going, ‘Oh god, I’m on a red carpet’. “She’s talking about it like we would and it’s just really refreshing to see someone who’s having a great time.”

“She’s just got a lot of sass. Even on film you can really tell that she’s so in to it, there’s no holding back. “She just gives everything she’s got and she seems like a really passionate, fun person who doesn’t take herself too seriously, and that is obviously a little bit rare in Hollywood.”
